For British Sandwich Week, we created a whole load of tasty sandwiches... here's our favourites for you to try!!
Monday: Dorset Blue Vinny, Chicken, Bacon and Salad Sandwich

We're kicking Sandwich Week off with a BANG with this mega Dorset Blue Vinny, Chicken, Bacon & Salad Sandwich!
​
Start by cooking your chicken and frying your bacon then layer it up with salad leaves, mashed avocado and sliced tomatoes between two thick slices of bread.
​
Timeless and delicious!

Want to add a bit of a twist? Add some of our Spiced Tomato Chutney to make this sandwich really come alive!!

Tuesday: Dorset Blue Vinny & Grilled Pear Toasted Sandwich
​

Blue Cheese and pear is the perfect combo! The sweetness of the pear compliments the salty tang of the cheese creating an unbeatable pairing.
​
Melt a small knob of butter in a pan. Slice your pear and pop the slices into the pan. Turn the pear slices over to ensure even cooking. Cook on a medium heat until the pear softens slightly. Evenly space out your slices of pear on your bread, top with Dorset Blue Vinny and then the second slice of bread. Melt a bit more butter in the same pan and add the sandwich. Grill on both sides until the bread is toasted and the cheese has melted.

Eat it hot (but not too hot otherwise you'll burn your tongue!!) with a nice fresh salad.

Wednesday: Dorset Blue Vinny, Smashed Avocado and Roasted Vegetable Sandwich

Taking inspiration from the Mediterranean (where we'd all much rather be) for this sandwich. It's a great one to wrap up and take to work or eat it straight away.
​
Roughly chop some courgette, tomatoes and red pepper into bite-sized chunks. Pop in a roasting tin, drizzle with olive oil and pop in the oven until cooked.
​
Mash your avocado in a bowl, spread it onto your bread, add the veggies and Dorset Blue Vinny cheese, pop the top slice of bread on the sandwich and voila- it's ready to be munched!
​
Thursday: Dorset Blue Vinny & Ham Sandwich
​
It's an oldie but goldie this one.
​
Layer up your ham, Dorset Blue Vinny and lettuce between two thick slices of white bread and you're done!
​
Add some Sweet Pickled Cucumbers to add something special to this classic plate.
​
Friday: Dorset Blue Vinny & Woodbridge Chutney Toastie
​
Ok, so this one isn't 'officially' a sandwich but it's in the sandwich family and is sooooo tasty so it counts!
​
Grab yourself a toastie machine or a frying pan and start heating it up.
​
Butter the OUTSIDE of the bread, place the cheese & Woodbridge chutney on the NON-BUTTERED side of the bread, sandwich them together and get frying/toastie'ing!
​
Once the bread becomes crispy on the edges and the cheese has melted through, tuck in!
​
