Dorset Blue Vinny & Walnut Pasta

Serves 4 / Easy

 

75g Crushed Walnuts

300g Dried Pasta

100g Dorset Blue Vinny cheese

3 tbsp Single Cream

Freshly Ground Black Pepper

 

Preheat the oven to 180°C (gas 4). Bake the walnuts for 5 minutes until lightly browned. Remove them from the oven and leave to cool, then crush coarsely.

 

Bring a large pan of lightly salted water to the boil. Add the pasta, bring back to boil and cook for 10 -12 minutes, or according to instructions, until al dente.

 

Meanwhile, crumble the Dorset Blue Vinny cheese into a saucepan. Add the cream, mix, and heat gently for 2-3 minutes, stirring constantly. Drain the pasta, and pour blue cheese sauce over the pasta and stir. Add the walnuts, grind over blakc pepper and serve at once.
